Volume-boosting and lengthening Collistar Art Design is a large, bulky mascara. A bigger capacity just seems to be a benefit – in practice, it means larger and less ergonomic tube. Still, the content matters the most. In this case, it’s a black mascara which nicely separates, defines and curls lashes. The effects last long whereas the intensity may be surprising. The formula is saturated with pigments, as well as enriched with shine-increasing substances that are based on plant-derived, illuminating powders. However, Art Design Mascara has some downsides – reviews mention that it flakes off and falls on cheeks after a few hours of wear, leaving unaesthetic spots under eyes. A synthetic-bristle, pyramid-shaped wand isn’t thick so you may accidentally pick up too much of the mascara, clumping your lashes. The effect is unnatural for many reviewers but it largely depends on their lash condition.
